The books will use Scrollmotion technology which has already developed similar content for the iPhone. The iPad faces tough competition from other devices such as the Amazon Kindle and the various forms of Netbook available on the market today. It's interesting that Apple did not announce any of these plans during the iPad launch although the use of textbook on the device was widely rumored prior to the event.

On a personal note I want to see magazine and newspaper publishers sign a similar deal.

[Props: Wall Street Journal]
Wed, 03 Feb 2010 18:53:09 GMThttp://beingageekisok.com/post/44270008/Textbook-Publishers-Sign-deal-to-get-contenturn:www-soup-io:1:44270008regularibooksscrollmotion
