It seems the purpose of these visits is to discuss iPad as publishing platform for newspapers and magazines (which would make sense).</p> <p><a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/steve-jobs-new-york-media-adventure-2010-2">Silicon Alley Insider reports</a>:</p> <p><em>We're reliably informed that Jobs showed up for an iPad show and tell in the Times newsroom.
